Cookie Policy

Last Updated: April 19, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how pages are used. NexaSocial uses cookies to operate the platform securely and to improve your experience.

2. Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies

This pre-launch marketing site has no login and sets no essential HTTP cookies of its own. The only thing stored locally by the site itself is your cookie-preference choice, kept in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) so we don't ask again on every visit. If you consent to analytics below, Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies — see the "Analytics cookies" section next.

  • Cookie consent record — Stores your consent choices in localStorage. Required to remember your preference; cannot be disabled.

Once the full NexaSocial product (with accounts and a dashboard) launches, this will expand to include a session cookie, a CSRF token, and an httpOnly refresh token required for login — this policy will be updated when that happens.

Analytics cookies (with consent)

Help us understand how users interact with NexaSocial so we can improve the product. All analytics data is anonymous and aggregated.

  • First-party analytics — Anonymous page views, feature usage, and error rates. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Performance metrics — Page load times and API response times to monitor platform health.

Marketing cookies (not currently active)

We don't currently run conversion tracking or UTM attribution — the "Marketing" category in the consent banner is reserved for if we add this in the future, and nothing is collected under it today. If we do turn it on, this section will be updated first.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. How to manage your cookie preferences

You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the consent banner at the bottom of any page. (This pre-launch site has no login or account settings — once the full platform launches, preferences will also be manageable there.)

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Note: this site has no login to block — blocking your browser's localStorage will just mean the consent banner reappears on your next visit.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect.

5. Contact
